The Robin Theatre 1105 S. Washington Ave, Lansing, MI, United StatesCo-sponsored with the Robin Theatre. Mean Mary gave a very inspired performance at the 2024 FARM (Folk Alliance Regional Midwest) Conference in Chicago. Since then, she has been enchanting crowds at Midwest (summer) and Florida (winter) venues with her combination of powerful songs and stellar accompaniment on banjo, guitar and fiddle.

Mary Gauthier

Youngman and Oldmen
The Robin Theatre 1105 S. Washington Ave, Lansing, MI, United StatesFrank Youngman was a member of the MSU marching band while picking up a degree in music education. Over the years, Frank has played the Fiddle with a multitude of bands including The Lost World String Band, Jive at Five, and this current ensemble with long-time musical pals Mark Schrock and Tom T. Ball.

Because the two prior years have sold out, this St. Pat's Day will present two opportunities (6 pm and 8 pm) to grab a beverage at nearby Sleepwalker or REO Town Pub and sing favorite Irish songs with friends and neighbors. Michigan Traditional Arts Program Showcase
The Robin Theatre 1105 S. Washington Ave, Lansing, MI, United StatesEach February, the Michigan Traditional Arts Program (MTAP) gives out 5-7 Michigan Heritage Awards to honor individuals who continue their family and community folk traditions with excellence through practice and teaching, or individuals who are recognized as outstanding community leaders in the maintenance, documentation, or presentation of traditional arts. Each year, 1-3 of these award winers are musical artists. Produced by the MTAP, this showcase will feature several of these past winners in concert at the intimate Robin Theatre. At this time, the line-up is TBA. Stay tuned!

A New England based, nationally touring musician whose music evokes classic singer songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne, Sam adds a modern, upbeat edge to the storyteller troubadour persona. An avid performer, he has gained recognition from extensive national touring, from sharing the stage with artists like Jason Mraz and David Wilcox, and as a main stage performer at national festivals like the Kerrville, Falcon Ridge and Philadelphia Folk Festivals.
