Tickets

You can purchase tickets to our shows:

  • At the door on the night of the show.
  • Online. Scroll through the calendar, find the show you want – and click the ‘Buy Ticket’ link. (Not all shows or dances have advance ticket sales, in which case, there won’t be a link).
Advanced tickets are available to every concert until 5 pm the day of the show.
Any remaining 7:30 pm concert tickets are sold at the door, starting at 6:30 pm.
Every Ten Pound Fiddle concert is general admission. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Contra Dance tickets are sold at the door.

Fiddle Scout donations may be made online here, or at the event.

TicketSpice is the Fiddle’s online advanced ticket service. In exchange for this convenience, TS charges around $1.50, per ticket and that fee goes directly back to TS. This allows all revenue from ticket sales to go directly to artists and production expenses.

If you need advance tickets and don’t wish to buy them online, please contact us at info@tenpoundfiddle.org and we’ll make special arrangements.

Information about Ten Pound Fiddle concerts and dances is available here. For any additional questions, email info@tenpoundfiddle.org

Concert Prices:  Public / Member / Student

Due to variable costs in producing many sizes and types of shows (rent of halls, performer fees, PR, additional sound requirements, etc…), tickets prices for Ten Pound Fiddle concerts vary from week to week.

Please refer to the list of Fiddle events to find out each concert’s ticket prices, options for ticket purchases, and concert location.

The first number of any published ticket price is the price for the general public.

The second number is the price for members of the Ten Pound Fiddle (Lansing Area Folk Song Society (LAFSS). For more information about saving $2-3 off each ticket of most concerts and/or dances, visit “Membership.”

The third number is the price for any student  –  $5 each. For very young children, it is understood that they will act in a manner appropriate within a concert setting.

Also, please note that several area venues are used to host Fiddle concerts. On that same concert page, please double check the location of the show you are planning to attend.
