The 15th Annual Mid-Winter Singing and Folk Festival

Saturday afternoon from noon-4, the festival will offer 10 workshops. Five workshops will be related to community singing and five will highlight instruments and performance. Song sheets for each singing workshop will be given out by the presenter. No need to pre-register! Just come to the Community Center, purchase a $20 workshop wristband, pick workshops that interest you, pop into the rooms, and enjoy! (18 and under and all students are free to all workshops, must pick up a wristband.)

Pete Seeger: The Power of SongSaturday at 11:30am in the Hannah Community Center auditorium the Festival will screen the film “Pete Seeger: The Power of Song,” sponsored by the East Lansing Film Festival. Click here to view the trailer on YouTube.

Wristbands for sale at the box office, starting at 10:30 am on Saturday.

There is no limit to the number of wristbands sold. The workshop rooms are large; there is room for everyone.
