“A brilliant, highly original songwriter who delivers her music with warmth and sincerity and a bit of a twinkle.” – Rich Warren, WFMT Chicago

Zoe Mulford has something to tell you. The grandchild of two radio announcers, Zoe comes from a family where stories are as essential as breathing. She backs her clear, luminous voice with guitar, piano, or clawhammer banjo, conjuring a world within each tune. She is best known as the writer or “The President Sang Amazing Grace,” which was covered by Joan Baez in 2018 and by Kronos Quartet in 2019. During Covid lockdown, she rediscovered her long-neglected first instrument, resulting in a quirky new EP, “Purple Piano.” Originally from Pennsylvania, she now lives in the north of England.
