St. Patrick’s Day Sing at the Robin: 8 pm
REO Town friends and lovers of Irish songs, Michael McConeghy and Abbey Hoffman (both of the Super Secret Cult Band) and Sally Potter are song leaders for the third annual St. Pat's Day Sing at the Robin Theatre in Lansing's REO Town. Because the two prior years have sold out, this St. Pat's Day will present two opportunities (6 pm and 8 pm) to grab a beverage at nearby Sleepwalker or REO Town Pub and sing favorite Irish songs with friends and neighbors. This is the third year song leaders Abbey Hoffman, Michael McConeghy and Sally Potter will lead Irish songs at two Irish sing-along sessions on St. Pat’s Day, Wednesday, March 17, at the Robin Theatre.
Due to popular demand, there will be two sessions: 6 pm and 8pm.
Lyric sheets provided. Different set lists for each session.
You are invited to grab a beverage at a nearby establishment and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day singing Irish songs with friends and neighbors.
Abbey Hoffman is an alt-folk singer/songwriter. Raised in NYC, she has been performing around Lansing since 2012, in solo shows and as a vocalist for The Lansing Unionized Vaudeville Spectacle. Currently, she is a member of apocalyptic doo-wop trio, the Super Secret Cult Band, and is a song leader for the annual St. Pat’s Day sings at the Robin Theatre.

Michael McConeghy is a singer, guitarist and aficionado of Irish music, sharing his favorite songs with venues all over Greater Lansing. A lifelong fan of Detroit-based Blackthorn, and all things Chieftains, McConeghy’s Irish music knowledge base is impressive and comes in handy when designing unique set lists for the annual St. Pat’s Day sings. Along with Dylan Rogers and Abbey Hoffman, Michael is one-third of the local phenomenon, the Super Secret Cult Band.

Sally Potter has been singing, playing the banjo, and leading songs in Greater Lansing for over 40 years. The founder of the annual Mid-Winter Singing Festival (2003) (www.singingfestival.com), Potter has continued to lead a monthly community sing for 23 years. This is the third year Potter will help lead the St. Pat’s Day Sings at the Robin Theatre. Currently, Potter is the concert booking manager for the Ten Pound Fiddle, sings tenor in the LanSINGout chorus, and is always on the lookout for great new songs.
