Michigan Traditional Arts Program Showcase

Each February, the Michigan Traditional Arts Program (MTAP) gives out 5-7 Michigan Heritage Awards to honor individuals who continue their family and community folk traditions with excellence through practice and teaching, or individuals who are recognized as outstanding community leaders in the maintenance, documentation, or presentation of traditional arts. Each year, 1-3 of these award winers are musical artists. Produced by the MTAP, this showcase will feature several of these past winners in concert at the intimate Robin Theatre.
