Cancelled: Heidi Swedberg and Daniel Ward, Michigan Ukulele Extravaganza
The beloved ukulele duo of Heidi Swedberg and Daniel Ward will be the Friday night Ten Pound Fiddle concert as part of the weekend Michigan Ukulele Extravaganza, produced by Ben Hassenger and Music is the Foundation. Saturday activities will consist of workshops, strums and a children's concert.
Look for Heidi and Daniel to appear at a uke event in Michigan this summer.
All online ticket sales to a cancelled or postponed concert will be fully refunded.
Heidi Swedberg and Daniel Ward love having fun with people, and believe in the spontaneous community that music creates when we raise our voices in song. We believe that if we can sing together we can begin to understand our shared humanity, and that is why our repertoire spans the globe. Our sets often include songs in a half dozen languages, for the music of the people far and wide can open our hearts by way of our ears. Come laugh, listen, and give in to the urge to join in to the joy of social music. (Oh, and there’s ‘ukulele! If you got one, bring it- like jello, there’s always room for ukulele!)
