Acclaimed fiddler and singer Bruce Molsky is also a serious threat on banjo and guitar. He’s “one of America’s premier fiddling talents” (Mother Jones) and a Grammy nominated artist. Bruce’s collaborations with musicians from just about everywhere have allowed his own voice to become expansive and interesting. No Depression calls Bruce’s last solo album, “If It Ain’t Here When I Get Back “an album from an absolute master.” His most recent solo album, Everywhere You Go was called “a beautiful document” by Acoustic Guitar magazine. In concert, he’s engaging, conversational and personal as he brings listeners into his very unique musical space with tunes, songs and stories from decades of music experiences.
Bruce keeps his creative fires lit through collaborations with long-time partner Darol Anger, Swedish master Ale Möller, Tony Trischka and others, and he is the Visiting Scholar in Berklee College of Music’s ‘American Roots Program,’ where he is the go-to guy for the next generation of fiddlers.
Sarah Jarosz: Bruce has long been one of my musical heroes, simply one of the greatest musicians there is, period.
Mark Knopfler: Bruce is one of those great players who ‘gets it.”
Julian Lage: Bruce’s guitar music is truly out of this world great.
Chris Eldridge: Bruce is a guiding light of musical integrity and fearlessness.
Linda Ronstadt: There’s an incredible power of history and tradition in his vocals.
