In this interactive musical experience for young children and their families, you will become part of the music! Everyone will become the rhythm section using egg shakers, rhythm sticks, drums, castanets, etc. and will have a chance to sing, dance and play along. Carrie is known for incorporating various unusual instruments, musical frogs, rain-sticks, boom walkers, hand bells, and singing bowls to name a few!
When Carrrie lived in the Greater Lansing area, she performed under her professional business Musical FUNdamentals; she taught early childhood music classes at Marshall Music and at local daycares and preschools. Carrie is a former Ten Pound Fiddle Scouts co-director, teaching monthly break-out sessions and leading holiday sing-alongs. In addition, Carrie sat on the board of the Ten Pound Fiddle as the children’s music advocate for several years. Currently, Carrie is living in the beautiful landscape of Central Lake in northern Michigan. She loves to play with different sounds, and she recently created a music hour for preschool children that included singing bowls, breathing, drumming, movement, singing and humming.
