His session engages the audience with participation\, various percussion instruments\, movement and story! Folk tales and original music paired with a loose and colorful environment helps to cultivate a space for fun and learning! \n\nJon Torrence is a musician and educator based out of Michigan\, USA. He grew up surrounded by music\, and his own songs blend elements of folk\, hip-hop\, rock and r&b. He plays extensively in Michigan and Ohio and also has taught various facets of music spanning ages ranging from Pre-K to adult learners in the idioms of contemporary\, pop\, and folk music. Each gathering features a local or regional folk musician who is adept at sharing music with everyone in the room. Fiddle Scouts often involves drumming\, singing or playing a new instrument!
